The Chamaerops Humilis, also known as the Mediterranean Fan Palm, is a beautiful little palm tree. This is an almost cactus-looking palm with distinctive, large green leaves and a bush-like growing style. This makes it less tall than other palms and ideal for balconies, wider, open spaces, and anywhere that will easily get a bit of sun. They are surprisingly easy to grow and care for!

Place it in a bright and sunny spot.
Water
Water it when the top 2 cm of the soil is dry.
Temperature
Keep it in a range of average temperatures, ideally between 18°C to 24° C. This palm can tolerate cooler temperatures, but it's best to avoid extreme cold below 10°C.
Feeding
Fertilise it only a couple of times during the growing season.
Grooming
Keep grooming to a minimum, but attend to it as needed.
